This is a conflict case and requires a pro bono attorney to represent a little girl who came into care on January 05, 2018 when both parents were arrested for parole violations. She is currently placed with her paternal grandmother. Natural mother has since been released from jail and is working her case plan. The department’s current permanency plan for the child is reunification with a concurrent goal of termination of parental rights and adoption by paternal grandmother. An attorney is needed to represent the child’s legal rights and wishes regarding permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure the appropriate services are in place. There is a Status Hearing set for May 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom 20.
