A 13 year old, a 7 year old, and a 1 year old were removed from their mother over concerns of homelessness and meth use by the mother. The father of the youngest child was willing to take them, but he is facing drug-related charges and resides out of state so that is not a feasible option right now. Both the mother and father of the youngest want to get clean and get the kids back. DFS has a name as to the father of the two older children but no other information at this time. The older two children are with a grandmother and the youngest child is in a foster home. The children are in need of an attorney to represent their wishes and legal rights to permanency, placement, visitation, and to ensure appropriate services are in place. There is a Disposition Hearing set for March 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. and an Adjudicatory Hearing set for April 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., Both in Courtroom 23.
