A sibling group of four children were adopted in December of 2017. On or about July 23, 2018 the family (four children aged 16 to 13) came to the attention of Child Protective Services by a combination of a call to the hotline and in person contact with Child Haven with allegation that the adoptive parent had been sexually inappropriate with one of the children. There is reasonable cause to believe that it would be contrary to the welfare of the children to remain at their home. Specifically, the Court finds that there are concerns of sexual abuse. One of the children reported that for the past 16 months there have been multiple sexually inappropriate encounters with the adoptive parent. Some of the incidents were witnessed by siblings. There is a Calendar Call on October 24, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. in Courtroom 11. There is an Adjudicatory Trial on November 9, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 11.
